Established in 1984
The Montana Highway Patrol started the Montana Hope Project in 1984 as a way to give back to the communities they serve in a special and unique way. It is now the charity of the Association of Montana Troopers. The Montana Hope Project is not associated with any national wish-granting organizations.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, the Montana Hope Project is funded solely by corporate and private donations, as well as fundraising efforts.
Our Mission is to fulfill the dreams and wishes of the children of Montana who suffer from a terminal, critical, or chronic illness that are between the ages of 2 and 18 years.
The Montana Hope Project has granted hundreds of wishes of Montana children living with life-threatening illnesses since its start in 1984.
